What is eSIM
eSIM is a digital SIM embedded in a compatible device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) enabling the activation of a mobile number without the need for a physical SIM card.
Benefits
- You can have multiple eSIMs on your device with two active mobile numbers at the same time (one physical SIM and another eSIM)
- You can easily switch between the mobile numbers by enabling and disabling them from your “device settings”
- Environmentally friendly
How to get your eSIM
Visit any touch service center and/or certified outlet to either swap your physical SIM to an eSIM or buy a new eSIM (new mobile number).
Existing touch customers can now do the swap via touch mobile app.
How it works
iPhone:
• A Wifi connection is required
• Go to the phone settings and select “cellular”
• Use your phone camera to scan the QR code
• Your eSIM is ready to use
Android:
• A Wifi connection is required
• Go to the phone settings and select “SIM Card Manager”
• Select eSIM > Add Mobile Plan to launch the camera automatically
• Use your phone camera to scan the QR code
• Your eSIM is ready to use
eSIM Tariffs
- New Prepaid line: $7
- New Postpaid line: $16.67
- Swap your physical SIM with an eSIM: $1.67
eSIM fees are same as the physical SIMs.
Prices exclude taxes.
Need to Know
- Do not share the QR code with anyone
- We also advise you to keep the QR code in a safe place for future use, as you might need to re-download your profile whether on the same device or on another device
- eSIM is not available currently on Apple watch
